This is my first review, so apologies if its shit. Any-who, Let Me In tells the story of a typical loner/loser high school stereotype who befriends his new, mysterious neighbour. I know what your thinking right, never heard of such an intriguing movie plot?! But really thats all its about, despite what the dvd cover and official trailer suggest. I was looking forward to a gory thriller, filled with tension and suspense however it ended up being a crappy film that was about a weird kid going steady with a girl to find out shes a vampire. How he didn't catch on is beyond me.. she never wore shoes, was only out at night and had to be told to come in otherwise she wouldn't. Where had this boy been hiding?! But for me that wasn't even the worst part.. Bloodydisgusting.com said it was "the new standard for vampire movies". Now I ain't a Twilight fan but even Stephenie Meyer managed to concoct a better plot, and she butchered everything to do with vampires. Next time I'm just gonna watch The Lost Boys, 30 Days of Night and Blade and jizz over a decent vampire film.
Peace out! Remember its just my opinion so don't kill me for it ha ha!
